FREE tickets are on offer this month to anyone who has never been to a Flicks in the Sticks screening.

With more than 60 screenings planned this month throughout Herefordshire and Shropshire, there is sure to be a film to your taste showing near you. Full listings can be found at artsalive.co.uk.

To take advantage of this offer, email ian@artsalive.co.uk who will send you a free ticket and add your email address to their free email alert service – an email reminder each time there is to be a screening in a venue nearby.

The pioneering Flicks in the Sticks project uses the latest in digital technology to bring big-screen films, classics and blockbusters to those who live in rural areas and do not normally get the opportunity to see such films.

“At a time when we have received a cut in funding for our service, we need to look for cheaper ways to let people know about screenings in communities throughout our area,” says Ian Kerry, director of Flicks in the Sticks.

“Our email alert service is fantastic – it is free to use and to operate and we want to encourage new audiences who may not have tried Flicks before.”
