HAVING made her escape from the jungle and I’m a Celebrity…, Hollywood’s Stefanie Powers will be on stage next month at Malvern Theatres in Middle Ground Theatre Company’s production of On Golden Pond, which also stars Richard Johnson and Elizabeth Carling.
On Golden Pond is the endearing love story of Ethel and Norman Thayer, returning for the 48th year to their summer home on Golden Pond, where they are joined by Chelsea, the daughter they haven’t seen for years, and her fiancé.
The pair leave their son with Ethel and Norman as they head for Europe – when they come back, they’re married and Chelsea discovers that her son has developed the kind of relationship with Norman that she’s yearned for. Is there still time for father and daughter to connect?
