FROM one of the smallest cinema events to one of the biggest winners of the movie world, Borderlines Film Festival is this year bringing the best of little and large to the region.
Last week saw the compact Sol Cinema in residence for one day in High Town, Hereford, showing a series of short films in the converted 1960s twoberth caravan.
This week the festival’s surprise event has been revealed as a screening of The Hurt Locker, the film that swept the boards at Sunday’s Oscars, making movie history as it did so, with the award of best director going to Kathryn Bigelow, the first time for a woman to win it.
The Hurt Locker is at The Courtyard on Sunday at 6.30pm. To book, call the box office on 01432 340555.
