Annual three-day Hereford County Drama Festival of One Act Plays starts today

TODAY (Thursday) sees the start of the annual three-day Hereford County Drama Festival of One Act Plays, a first round festival in the All England Theatre festival.
There are nine plays featured this year, with three from Young Farmers’ drama groups, three from youth groups and four original plays on the bill.
The competition will be judged by Colin Dolley of the Guild of Drama Adjudicators, and prizes will be awarded on the final night of the festival, with the winner going on to the quarter-final of the western division. If successful, the winning group could find themselves at the semi-finals in May and the English final on June 5.
The festival runs from tonight until Saturday.
