MAGICIAN Mark Townsend will be taking his new seasonal show, One Enchanted Evening, to Leominster, Ross, Bromyard, Ledbury and Ludlow this Christmas.

“In an age of disillusionment and disenchantment, my show aims to reconnect audiences to that long lost sense of magic and wonder,” says former vicar Mark.

“The show is in two parts: a Derren Brown-style mind-magic act and then an enchanting journey into a world of wonder, where imaginations are inspired and dreams are created. It will also include humour and fun suitable for all ages.”

Among fans of Mark’s magic is spoon-bender Uri Geller, who declares Mark “amazing and inspirational”, while Brian Viner of The Independent judges his magic “wonderful and heartwarming”.

One Enchanted Evening is at Leominster Community Centre (01685 616411) on Saturday, November 29; The Phoenix Theatre (01432 260675), Ross-on-Wye on Friday, December 5; Ludlow Assembly Rooms (01584 878141) on Saturday, December 6; The Market Theatre, Ledbury (01531 636147) on Friday, December 12, and at The Conquest Theatre, Bromyard (01885 488575) on Saturday, December 13.
