Jazz gigs in the garden

TOMORROW (Friday) sees the first of a series of five lunchtime jazz events in Hereford Cathedral's Chapter House garden.
First up is live jazz from The Charlie Russell Trio, followed on August 10 by Hereford favourites the Cider City Jazzmen.
August 17 sees trumpet, bass and vocal combo, Bev Gough and Ben Thomas, and on August 24 the Cider City Jazzmen return.
Bringing the series to an end will be The Mike Britton Trio with cocktail jazz from the American songbook'.
Admission is free, with refreshments available and a move inside if the weather proves uncooperative.
