South Essex College has launched its new year programme of adult evening and weekend courses where you can improve your job prospects or learn a new skill or hobby.

The courses take place at the college’s Southend Campus on a Saturday morning or an evening during the week, making it perfect for those with a busy schedule.

With courses starting from £59, you don’t have to break the bank to learn a new skill in a wide range of subjects.

Budding photographers can learn the secret to capturing the perfect picture, while language lovers can learn Spanish or Japanese. For a relaxing experience, learn the art of massage, while those interested in computers can find out about coding.

Sunil Kumar, evening and weekend course co-ordinator, said: “Lots of people would like to learn a new hobby, but cannot commit to a full time course. The full range of evening and weekend courses at the college are a perfect solution because they fit around busy lifestyles and students gain useful knowledge of the subject in a short space of time.

“Not only will you study something you enjoy, but you will meet likeminded people with similar interests and boost your potential job prospects at the same time”
