At Adult Community Learning Essex, prospective learners are being encouraged to register for courses and fulfil their goals.

It is running a #nostoppingme campaign, highlighting the potential opportunities its courses can create for people in 2016.

Professional qualifications, apprenticeships and leisure courses are all available, with subjects including accounting, jewellery making, law, pottery, photography and languages.

Free English and maths functional skills courses are available. ‘Fast track’ GCSEs are also taking place and could be free if you have not achieved a grade A*-C previously.

Councilor Ray Gooding, Essex county councillor responsible for education and lifelong learning, said: “Adult Community Learning offers a wide range of courses with the potential to open new doors for people, and the start of a new year is the ideal time to get started.

“Whether you are looking to improve your job prospects, start your journey towards a new career or pursue personal interests, I would encourage you to have a look at what’s on offer.

“With fantastic discounts now available, there really should be no stopping you.”

Adult Community Learning has centres in Colchester, Harwich, Clacton, Basildon, Rayleigh, Chelmsford, Witham and Maldon.
