A LEADING estate agent and chartered surveyor is celebrating having worked in Tenbury Wells and the Teme Valley for the past 40 years.

Edward Gallimore started in Tenbury's market, then owned by Russell Baldwin & Bright, in September 1976. Ten years later, he started his own practice, Edward Gallimore FRICS, an independently owned estate agency.

In 2009, Richard Franklin, an experienced chartered surveyor, who is a lifelong resident of Tenbury Wells and has worked for more than 20 years in both public and private practices throughout the West Midlands, joined the firm.

It became Franklin Gallimore specialising in residential, development land and commercial sales, lettings, property management and professional work covering Tenbury Wells, Teme Valley and the West Midlands.

In his 40 year professional career, Edward has sold more than 2,000 properties from cottages to country houses. Some houses Edward has sold up to five times.

Edward Gallimore said "The last 40 years have flown by. My ethos has always been about providing exquisite personal service and trusted advice. In the 30 years that I've been running my own business, it has grown and evolved to what it is today, a modern and thriving firm. With Richard joining, we have been able to expand our client offering to provide not just residential sales and letting advice, but also commercial and development land. My exceptional team are a great support and I look forward to many more years working with them and serving my clients."

Richard Franklin said "Congratulations from the whole team to Edward on his 40 year anniversary. He is very much respected across the Teme Valley and his vast experience really is second to none. We wish him many more successful years."
