MANY changes have taken place in the world of estate agency in recent years; the introduction and subsequent withdrawal of home information packs, energy performance certificates, property misdescriptions act and the internet revolution.
A set of For Sale particulars dating from 1919 and relating to the Stoke Edith estate near Hereford offer an insight into the way things used to be.
The sales particulars have been consigned to local auctioneers and estate agents John Goodwin FRICS to offer in their forthcoming fine art and collectable sale.
The estate was to be offered by auction at the Green Dragon Hotel in Hereford and comprised a total of 93 lots extending in total to 3370 acres.
The sale particulars provide detailed information of each of the properties forming part of the estate with many photographs and estate plans.
John Goodwin’s fine art and collectables sale is scheduled to take place on November 26 at the Three Counties Show Ground and the particulars are to be offered with a price guide of £100 - £200.
