One of Hereford’s leading Estate Agents, Andrew Morris of Bridge Street Hereford was quick to point out that the month of October has started with a flurry of sales!

“The autumn market has started well especially after the traditionally quieter holiday periods of August and September. However with the good weather continuing and the supply of available property improving, sales have resulted as we go into the autumn market.

The demand for city property continued to be strong for people to move up the property market ladder from their one bed to two bed to three bed and so on. The rural market is still sought after particularly property with large gardens or a small acreage.

There is more confidence in the market place at the present time and the run up to Christmas should be good.

The Crest Nicholson development at the Furlongs on Roman Road, where Andrew Morris is the sole agents, has again seen keen interest, with a good choice of two, three and four bedroomed properties all being sold in the last two weeks. The Furlongs has been an outstanding site for the Hereford property market and Crest Nicholson has built a good choice of property to suit all areas of the market and these have all met with a strong demand.

To meet the demand, Crest Nicholson is now opening their show house complex seven days a week.

The run up to Christmas is an important time in the property market and subject to good availability the market will remain strong for property that is realistically priced.”
