ON May 14, Andrew Morris successfully sold 10 lots at the Crest Nicholson End Of The Pier charity dinner raising £25,000 for the Variety Club of Great Britain.

The black tie event was held on Weston-Super-Mare pier to an audience of 650 people, made up of Crest Nicholson staff, suppliers, contractors and other selling agents. The whole event raised £38,000 buying a mini bus for deprived children.

The lots that Mr Morris sold included a walk on part in Made in Chelsea which made £3000, a sports package including tickets to a Wimbledon centre court game, Chelsea and Manchester United home games, England vs Estonia game which made £5000 and a Manhattan kitchen - £8000.

Mr Morris commented, "It was a fantastic evening and an honour to be asked for the second time by Crest Nicholson to act as the auctioneer. The lots were fantastic but the total raised even better."

A spokesperson at Crest Nicholson said "Andrew did us proud at the auction, we are obviously thrilled at the final total."
