DELIGHTED pupils at Shobdon Primary School netted £250 from Sainsburys after a group of parents won a charity quiz organised by the supermarket giant.
Head teacher Vicky Hancock said the children were excited to hear the funds will be used to buy extra playground equipment.
Parents representing Friends of Shobdon School won the cash when they came first in a recent charity quiz organised at the Hereford branch.
Sainsburys’ customer services manager and community liaison officer, Graeme Ainsworth and Susan Davies presented the cash to the school.
