TWO Shobdon Primary School pupils had the opportunity of a lifetime to spend time doing what they both really love.
Eight year old Luke Doyle, a talented violinist, attended a five day jazz course at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama for children up to the age of 18.
Luke, the youngest on the course, finished the week by participating in an exciting evening performance at Brecon Jazz Festival.
He has just joined the South Powys Youth Orchestra.
Nine year old Hugh Osborne-Brookes also had a busy holiday. With a love of stage performance, he was successful in his audition for Stage Experience Footloose at The New Alexandra Theatre in Birmingham. One of a cast of 120, Hugh sang and danced his way through vibrant and exciting performances.
Both boys have worked incredibly hard and they hope that this will be just the beginning of even greater things for them!
