A WOMAN has suffered an anaphylactic reaction after being stung a dozen times by bees.
The woman, who is in her 40's, was attending a beehive at her home in Newton St Margarets when the incident happened.
She was airlifted to Hereford County Hospital for further treatment.
The incident follows a case in neighbouring Worcestershire earlier this week when a 50-year-old man was bitten by a hamster and later hospitalised for anaphylactic shock.
