Boreham Wood v Yeading

Ryman League Division One

Saturday, 28th April, Kick Off 3pm,

Meadow Park

The equation now is very simple.

If Wood beat Yeading at Meadow Park this Saturday they will be promoted back to the Ryman Leage Premier Division at the first time of asking.

Recent tired-looking performances, at both Harlow and Ford, should not take away their remarkable record of twelve victories and two draws in the last 15 games, which has put them proudly on course for the championship itself, and Graham Roberts' men richly deserve a bumper gate this weekend to celebrate an incredible turnaround in fortunes.

Yeading however will arrive with some former Wood personnel in their ranks, who would like nothing better than to delay the party until another day.

Warren Bayliss, Adam Shafer, Carl Levene and Jason Tucker have all worn Wood's colours in the past 12 months, and each of them will be striving to make things difficult for their old club.

The Ding are experiencing a mediocre campaign, and are currently placed in the bottom half of the table.

Wood won 2-1 at The Warren in January in what was manager Gary Phillips' only win whilst at the helm, and a repeat scoreline is all that is required now.
