BROOKES Derek Arthur Mrs Betty Brookes, Tracey and David, Helen and Tony, Abbie, Greg and the Family of the late Mr Derek Brookes wish to express their sincere thanks to all Relatives, Friends, Neighbours, Former Colleagues and Customers of 'Garden Leisure' at Bridgnorth and members of the wider farming community for the many cards, letters, text's, Facebook posts. eMails and other kind messages of sympathy, love and prayers received at this very sad and reflective time, for your attendance at his Funeral Service and for your donations to 'The Alzheimer's Society'. Your wonderful support has been greatly appreciated by us all. We extend our special thanks to Derek's Doctors for all your efforts on his behalf throughout his long illness; to all the Staff at "Lynhales Hall Nursing Home", at Lyonshall for your wonderful care of and kindness to Derek throughout his stay with you; to 'The Flower Shop' at Bridgnorth for the beautiful floral tributes; to everyone who has shared their memories of Derek with us for inclusion in his Funeral Service and, particularly, to Greg and to David for your very personal contributions to the Ceremony; to Ian Seedhouse and all at Worfield Cricket Club for your warm hospitality afterwards; to 'Lorenzo' for the excellent post - Funeral reception catering; and to The Rural Dean, the Reverend Jeannetta Stokes and organist Mr Oliver Clarke for leading us in a most uplifting celebration of the life and times of Derek Brookes.
