PEOPLE in Bosbury are invited to attend a service tomorrow following the tragic shootings of an elderly couple in the village.
John and Anne Knott were found dead with gunshot wounds after police were called to their Forge Cottage home in nearby Pow Green on Monday.
Holy Trinity Church will be open all day tomorrow for personal prayer and reflection.
A service will then be held at 6pm.
“This is an opportunity for us all to come together and reflect on the tragedy in Bosbury this week and to pray for everyone caught up in this deeply distressing event,” said the vicar, Rev Nicky Seabright.
“The community in Bosbury have been deeply shocked by the death of John and Anne as they were well known locally and were supporters of many events in the village.
"We are obviously really sorry and full of sadness about what has happened and the family are very much in our prayers.
"As a community we need to come together and support each other."
