BEMUSED Kington residents have been left wondering where an unusual allotment has come from - after a recent grass cutting at a roundabout revealed four beds of potatoes and one pumpkin bed.
With the town's Kington in Bloom festival recently wrapped up - the mystery planter's produce is just coming into its prime.
Until the recent round of grass cutting, the roundabout, on the edge of the town, had been plagued by overgrown grass.
Some locals believe the secret planting may have been a green-fingered salute to the council, or simply a horticulturalist who had run out of room at the nearby allotments.
