HEREFORD United's former chairman has been appointed to the management team of a county recruitment business.

David Keyte will chair the board at Herefordshire Recruitment, which is based on King Street in Hereford.

Mr Keyte, who has been replaced at the Edgar Street club by Tommy Agombar, will also be in charge of "developing ties within the education sector".

His profile on Herefordshire Recruitment's website says his career has "encompassed finance, education and more latterly sport".

"Having spent 10 years as a Senior Finance Manager within the BBC, David lectured in Further Education (Finance and Accountancy) before he successfully ran and managed a school focused upon supporting children with learning difficulties, where he remains Chairman of the Schools Governors," the profile says.

"He will Chair the businesses board as well as developing ties within the education sector."
