LOCAL lady, Jan Long is hoping for blooming great support for her Blooming Great Tea Party, on behalf of the Marie Curie charity
Mrs Long, a long-time fund-raiser for the good cause, will be playing host at her home of Heath House, Bromsberrow Heath, on Sunday, June 22, from 2pm to 5pm.
She said: "There will be cream teas and refreshments, plant and produce stalls, a fantastic raffle with over 20 high quality prizes! Live music, featuring two groups, who will be performing an eclectic mix of ballads, jazz and classical complete with a touch of comedy when a local bugler plays 'Come to the cook house door' to mark the start of the party."
She added: "We are delighted to assist in raising money for Marie Curie Care and open our house and gardens so that members of the public can enjoy a stroll after filling up on beverages and buns. Everyone is invited to join in this fun day to support such a worthy cause".
Tickets are £5.00 each and available by telephoning, The Shop at Bromsberrow, 07977 787004, or Jan Long, on 01531 650036
