TRACTOR enthusiasts have enjoyed a road run around Eardisley.

About 50 tractor enthusiasts turned out to the Bayliss Bros yard with the 30 mile run visiting the village of Gladestry for the lunch stop.

The damp weather did not dampen the spirits of the tractor drivers and was organised by Stephen Newman, Steven Whittall and Alan Bayliss.

The story behind the road run was that the three friends had thought of the idea of organising it and gathered local tractor enthusiasts to raise money for charity.

The road run was a great success and raised £675 for the Air Ambulance.

Regional officer, Mark Wilkins from the County Air Ambulance Trust, came and gave a talk on all the hard work they do and to thank the tractor enthusiasts.

The organisers and everyone involved in the road run would like to thank Bayliss Bros haulage company for the use of their yard where the road run started and finished.
