A MAN broke a leg yesterday after falling five feet from a ladder near Cradley.
West Midlands Ambulance Service (WMAS) said the 46-year-old was doing maintenance on a property in Mathon at 12.15pm when he fell - trapping his leg between two rungs.
That, WMAS said, caused both his leg and the ladder to break.
The man was administered pain relief after sustaining lower leg and ankle fractures.
However, he did not have any spinal injuries.
The man was airlifted to Worcestershire Royal Hospital for further treatment.
