A MILITARY charity is trying to set a mass parachute jump, calling on volunteers to make up the 100 jumpers ‘falling in’ to commemorate the WW1 centenary.
THE Pilgrim Bandits – a charity that supports and inspires wounded servicemen through extreme expeditions – is behind the jump, set for the 19th and 20th of July at Netheravon in Wiltshire.
Disabled ex-soldier Jason Jones, who lives in Herefordshire, is a fundraiser for the charity and will be one of those doing a tandem jump.
You can sponsor Jason at www.justgiving.com\jason-jones11 or to get involved yourself, register online at http://pilgrimbandits.org .
The cost of the jump is £200 with a minimum sponsorship of £100 – for more information contact Jason at Jason.jones@pilgrimbandits.org or call 07970 671861.
