VILLAGE halls were community hubs before "hubs" were even a concept.
A meeting in Hereford on Thursday (March 27) will hear what halls can get ahead again.
That's the issue village and community hall representatives from across the county will talk through at Community First networking conference at Saxon Hall in Hereford.
Those representatives will share best practice in everything from fundraising to health and safety.
and project developments as well as share good ideas from their own experience.
Community First’s CEO, Richard Qualington, said supporting village halls is a key focus for Community First.
"An active village hall is a crucial building block for many strong communities. Thanks to funding from Awards for All we have been able to establish a new network for village halls – allowing them to share professional advice and experiences," he said.
