WELLINGTON Heath residents may club together to fund a hedge-cutting scheme.
The desire to get roadside hedges trimmed was one issue raised by residents in a recent parish questionnaire.
Now moves are afoot to get roadside hedges trimmed by a tractor.
Once or twice a year, a tractor with a flail will cut hedges in the village.
Costs to individuals are not known at the moment, as this will depend on how many people get involved with the community scheme.
The fee for each household involved will also depend on the size of the hedge they want to see trimmed.
The level of local interest should be known by the end of March.
